We do not permit our system to used to send unsolicited email. Our sole purpose is to assist with direct email marketing to subscribers of information. We take this matter very seriously and may discontinue service to any clients who choose to use our technologies for spamming purposes.

Report Abuse
To report any abuse or violations of the Interactive Marketing System, please forward the email you received to abuse Your notification will be registered and that client will be investigated for violations of our Anti-Spam Policy. The identity of any individual reporting abuse will be kept confidential.

Anti-Spam Policy Enforcement
Interactive Marketing System enforces its anti-spam policy using several methods:
  • To the best of our knowledge, the Interactive Marketing System adheres to ALL state and national laws regarding sending unsolicited bulk email.
  • We provide ongoing training to our Email Marketing Consultants to consult with our prospective Clients on the proper methods they can use to build their email lists, as well as educating prospective Clients on the Interactive Marketing System's anti-spam policy.
  • On our agreement with our Clients, our Clients specifically agree NOT to use the Email Campaign Manager to send unsolicited email or spam.
  • Upon signing up for the Email Campaign Manager service, our Clients receive a live training and consultation including discussing the methods the Client will use to build their list.
  • Every Client receives a Proprietary White-Paper of Email Marketing Best Practices.
  • The Interactive Marketing System provides the option for Clients to use a Double-Opt-In method of verifying their data.
  • Upon importing a list into The Interactive Marketing System, we verify with our Client the source of the list and the method used to acquire the list.
  • All emails sent using The Interactive Marketing System include point of origin and routing information as well as identifying information about the Client that sent the message.
  • The Interactive Marketing System supports multiple OPT-OUT / REMOVE / UNSUBSCRIBE methods including instructions and a link at the bottom of each email distributed through The Interactive Marketing System, automatic opt-out using reply email, automatic opt-out using forwarding email, and the ability for Clients to remove emails.
ISPs and Network Administrators
While we do our best to keep The Interactive Marketing System free from abuse and encourage our Clients to use best practices to avoid generating complaints, the huge volume of messages we send does generate complaints, both to us, to our clients, and to ISPs and Network Administrators. If you receive complaints about unsolicited email sent from our service, please forward the email to , along with your contact information and the company you represent. We will investigate the complaint and respond to you with the results of our investigation.

OPT-OUT / REMOVE / UNSUBSCRIBE
If you wish to be removed from a SINGLE email list, please click the "OPT-OUT" link at the bottom of the email you received, or, reply to the email you received with "OPT-OUT" in the subject line, or, forward the email you received to . You will be removed from that email list and that Client will be restricted from adding your email to their list in the future.

What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited email also known as junk mail or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email.) By sending email to only to those who have requested to receive it, you are following accepted permission-based email guidelines.

How the Interactive Marketing System protects you from sending spam
Email Campaign Manager is a permission-based email-marketing tool that follows the strictest permission-based philosophies:
  • Communication - Your Email Campaign Manager already states why you are collecting the site visitor's email address, how you plan to use their address, and that you are following the embedded privacy policy. Additionally, by accepting our license agreement you have agreed to not sell or rent your lists.
  • Verification - Interactive Marketing System automatically sends all of your new subscribers an email confirming their interest in receiving emails from you.
  • Unsubscription - Every email generated from the Email Campaign Manager contains an unsubscribe link which automatically updates your subscriber lists to avoid the chance of sending unwanted emails to visitors who have unsubscribed.
  • Contact Information - all of your emails are pre-filled with your contact information.
Isn't there a law restricting Spam?
Yes, but state spam statutes vary so it is important to conform to the strictest standards. Many states have spam statutes, and they all differ; each state has its own definition of unsolicited commercial email. Additionally, there are various federal agencies keeping track of spam including the Federal Trade Commission.

How to protect yourself from Spam: Take the Spam Test
  1. Are you importing a purchased list of ANY kind?
  2. Are you sending to non-specific addresses such as:
    • sales, business, webmaster, info, or other general addresses.
  3. Are you sending to distribution lists or mailing lists which send indirectly to a variety of email addresses?
  4. Are you mailing to anyone who has not explicitly agreed to join your mailing list?
  5. Have you falsified your originating address or transmission path information?
  6. Have you used a third party email address or domain name without their permission?
  7. Does your email's subject line contain false or misleading information?
  8. Does your email fail to provide a working link to unsubscribe?
